At BetaRise Ltd, our dedicated UK-based student advisers guide you through every step of applying to a UK university — completely free of charge.

1. CONTACT US

The first step is to get in touch with our team. We will arrange an initial consultation to understand your individual circumstances and goals.

During this stage, we assess key factors such as:

  • Your location in the UK

  • Availability for lectures (daytime, evening, weekend, or hybrid)

  • Previous qualifications or relevant work experience

  • Course preferences and career goals

  • Residential and family status (single or married, under 25 or over 25, children or caring responsibilities, as these may affect Student Finance eligibility)

  • Employment status (employed or self-employed)

  • How long you have lived in the UK

  • Whether you have applied to university before

2. COURSE SELECTION

Based on your profile, we will recommend suitable courses with available places for your preferred intake and location. We only suggest options that realistically match your background, availability, and funding eligibility.

3. DOCUMENT COLLECTION

Once a course is selected, we will guide you through collecting all required documents for the university or college application, including:

  • Valid ID (passport or ID card)

  • Proof of address

  • National Insurance Number (NIN)

  • Proof of residency status (British citizenship, visa, ILR, or Share Code if applicable)

  • Previous qualification certificates and transcripts

    • In some cases, official translations may be required, depending on the university

  • Work references, if applying based on work experience rather than formal qualifications

  • CV and Personal Statement

    • We provide full support with preparing and improving these documents

4: APPLICATION SUBMISSION

We complete and submit your application to the university or college. The institution will review your documents and, if suitable, will provide an admissions interview date.

5: INTERVIEW PREPARATION

Before your interview, we will fully prepare you by:

  • Providing possible interview questions

  • Conducting mock interviews with one of our experienced advisors

This ensures you feel confident and well-prepared. Interviews may be conducted on campus or online, depending on the university.

6. ENGLISH LANGUAGE ASEESMENT

In some cases, you may need to demonstrate your English language level, which can vary by university.
Most courses require at least an intermediate level of English.

  • If you already hold IELTS or TOEFL, these can usually be accepted as proof

  • If not, you may be required to take an English test, either online or on campus, depending on the institution

    • Accepted tests may include ELPT, Versant, Duolingo, or Spotlight

7: APPLICATION OUTCOME

After a successful interview and full review of your application, the university will issue the outcome.
Our goal is to help you receive an unconditional offer.

8. STUDENT FINANCE APPLICATION

Once you accept your offer, we can support and guide you through your Student Finance application.
Please note that Student Finance is a separate application, but we will assist you throughout the process.
